Piano vs. Human

WATCH THIS: "Crystal" by New Order

"My voice just echos off these walls" as I listen to the new NIN record. It's no kidding that this may be one of the best NIN records ever made. Take into account the brilliant marketing and artwork that circumferences the purity of NIN. Download for free: NIN.com (The Slip). Favorite track without a doubt : Echoplex

As I walk into the the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills, I can't help but notice the beautiful people, the trendsetting ambience and the perfectly manicured deserts which I am still paying off on my American Express.  As I enter this facade, the glamour is minimal, the food is simplistic and the lighting is dim- perfect for being incognito without the makeup. From a personal perspective I highly recommend, even if you live in LA and need an evening to escape. For a year membership you can become a member to the rooftop bar. This just may be competition for the Tropicana bar at the Hotel Roosevelt who is notorious for their summer pool parties or even those at the downtown Standard. But we say zero comparison even though ironically the Thompson group owns the Roosevelt.

Los Angeles is surrounded by the smoke and revenge of clouds who have peacefully filled the sky with the utter sounds of high frequency. This week is about the melancholy ambiance of piano vs. human and fate vs. reality. There are so many people who depend on others. So many people who vaguely try to create a model of their own and the breeding trend of vicariousness is becoming extinct. We should only rely on ourselves and view those around us as not ones who will make the impossible possible but those who will contribute to the innovation of oneself.

Okay so maybe I do sound a little "industrial". I am listening to the instrumentals of Bach which can be quite depressing. Music inspires the way we think, the way we write and the attitude we persevere on each day. The echoing of sound, the rainbows of color and the psychotic infrastructure of mind.

So many different faces pass us by each day to think that one that may have passed you by before may be the very person you spend the rest of your life with. "Echoplex" by NIN is about the wall one builds around them self and the feeling of no one listening.

........... Millions of stories, history, feelings and death.
