Scars

You know why I use a knife rather then a gun? It's so I can carve things in your face. Plus it's more personal.

While staring about the Joker; probably the number one choice for a Halloween costume this year, listen to some great music that was released today.

If Bloc Party, The Teenagers and The Gossip got together and jammed you would get The Black Kids. The Black Kids debut, Party Traumatic features our favorite, "I'm Not Going To Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance With You." Unlike The Teenagers though, who came and went faster then my housekeeper doing my laundry, The Black Kids have flair and originality. We gave up on the Teenagers when then passed on one of my compilations and could not even fill The Echo; how embarrassing!

3 out of 4 stars - Why the Chromeo rip off at the end of I Wanna Be Your Limousine?

CSS released another fantastic record on Sub Pop today titled Donkey. Most known for "Let's Make Love While Listening To Death From Above" has come out with a more mature sound.

Oh yeah, and let's not forget our amazing time last night. While Jason was at Hercules and Love Affair, getting his dance on, I had an awesome evening standing in the middle of two beach hotels and staring at the fairs wheel. The bright lights that radiated off the eyes of both and a smile that is everlasting adorable. Now, "Shut Up And Let Me Go" - (The Ting Tings ) start my day.

A simple Smirk

It's been 20 days since I actually had air to breath, to step back and think and to realize that sometimes living in the moment is a good thing. It all turned out to be very conspicuous now that I look back on it. What began as a fairy tale, ended like a fairy tale.

Back to reality. The smell of Dior homme cologne has infected the location in which I sit. While I am so allergic to this scent,  I continue to wear it. The feeling is not suffering for fashion but that is exactly what I am doing; itch itch.

I can't help but think about how amazing life can really be. Metaphorically speaking, the rivalry between Orange County and Los Angeles has finally ended. She has crossed the line to make peace. For the first time in eight years, I feel safe in my own home. A feeling of comfort that is true, organic and real. Visit (Mutual Aberrations Society) for cross reference.

If you be yourself rather then be someone you're not, you will gravitate much further in life and meet individuals who have quality to share. That is why I constantly try to plan my escape from LA. For months I had given up on this city of lights and glamour. This contrived- everything is the same mentality from everyone. Friends who stab your back, relationships that are driven by the poshness of dates, rather then the intellectual connection of two people really liking one another and a business that is becoming a dying trend; music. But I have hope and then again I remind myself how young I am and life is really just beginning for me.

Why is it so difficult to find someone you really like and moreso, when you find this person whoever it may be, there is that fear of commitment. Let's rewind 40 years to the white picket fence lifestyles of suburbia, a time when America was the land of the "Free". In no way I am trying to be cliche. In fact I rather be the minority then the majority however today it's a free for all; psychosomatic culture breeding with insecurities. But....

You're out there though and I know it :)

And with all this said, there is nothing better to cheer ones day then buy a new pair of shoes. Our purchase was the Prada vintage loafers yesterday at Barneys. So while...

Aurelius, Marcus

A distant friend posted this quote on his website and I found it interesting. "Everything that happens as it should, and if you observe carefully, you will find this to be so." -Marcus Aurelius
