Sightings
Will.i.am at the SLS Hotel today. By the way, one of the worst hotels I have ever been to. Who want's to sit in a bar that overlooks the valet. I almost broke my tooth on a rock that looked like an almond. The hotel is hip but more on the euro trash side.
Update: Yeah Yeah Yeah's
Entire album is fantastic- Very 07' - TV on the Radio produced and they're one of my favorite bands.
Top picks include:
Heads with roll
Skeletons
Runaway
Hysteric

Not Exactly A Jackson Pollock
The Race is a UK band distributed though Rough Trade. Their sound is predictable. Not quite Bloc Party. Listen to: Killer
I'm sure this will be the next buzz band... in the vain of The Teenagers- I hope NOT! Seems like they got held back in high school and thats okay because if they graduate that means another record (blah)! The Race hopefully will start running and be in the U.S. this summer.

Update on Cornell
Scratch that- this new Chris Cornell album may just be the best album I have heard this year. WOW!
Screaming At Cornell
I can confidently write that Timbaland may just be the greatest producer on earth. Have you listened to the new Chris Cornell album? This is the future of music from the Sound Garden days and while I am sure "true" rock fans may disagree with this direction, I think this album undoubtably displays great art.

A Horizon For A Beautiful Boy
U2's, "No Line On the Horizon" is absolutely amazing. Being a huge Brian Eno fan you can only expect a masterpiece that seamlessly unites ambient instrumentals and U2's signature hooks. I just started reading New York Times #1 best seller, "Beautiful Boy" by Daivd Sheff. This book has significant meaning as I know the family it's written about. It's quite the page turner and expect to cry with both joy and sadness.

3D in '07
It's snowing and finally being in New York for a little over two months I get to enjoy several days of cold cold cold cold weather! It feels like this is the fall of winter. We just got home from seeing Caroline in 3D. Not the biggest fan of animation films however you must experience this new 3D thing!
Listen: 2007 releases because music sounded better then.
Psycho Girls $ Psycow Boys (Haaksman and Haaksman Remix)
