Paris Valentine Loft

// My Valentine

Who are you? Lost and insecure you look around trying to find the one thing that matters most. And then one day it all makes sense doesn’t it? For so long you have followed your heart and each day ask yourself why you continue to, when the same reaction is negative. It’s being lost in a big city with no one but your headphones and that voice that will not disappear. You try to move on. You tell yourself it’s over but it really hasn’t even begun. I love you and you are the only person I have ever loved. What is love though? It’s fear, happiness, tears, memories and a list of so many verbs that virtually keep us here. Without love, would anything really even make sense?

I came here not to find love but to follow the one thing I do love. There is a difference. Some people constantly are on that quest to be satisfied. It was just the other day that I found myself in this situation. Sitting at the Mercer Kitchen being told I am the most beautiful person someone has ever met. Ironically, I was not called the following day.

Love is something you can’t find but rather finds you. A true smile is one your heart can see.

“Don’t let me go” are lyrics I think about so much. But it is these lyrics that haven’t allowed me to move on. It’s these lyrics that compare everything to you. I am scared and only because I don’t know if I can ever feel this way about someone like the way I felt about you.

All I can really hope for is to not hate this world and not hate you. But thank you for what you have taught me and thank you for allowing me to feel the ground. Anywhere in the world at any moment and it really is the same. Running for hours just to take my mind off you. Crazy, beautiful but more crazy then beautiful. Intellect over look and knowing that look is what may start a book but it’s not what closes it.

Watch the sun for years. That is hope. Following my heart forever and never give up. One dream and only one life.
