Last night I was at the Gramercy Park Hotel and fell in love with all of the Brian Clarke paintings. A little confused over the $150.00 candle they burn in their lobby. It must be a good candle!

Force without Authority

You can't force something that you can't hold on to. This place of so many things. Music is blasting in my ears. Candles are lit everywhere and this liberation or perhaps better specified rush is flowing though my body. It finally stopped raining.

This weekend I ran the island, visited the New Museum which was a complete waste of time and tried to figure out the simple things.

For some reason I can't sleep. Tossing and turning with this need to write. \++++

The past month has been revolutionary. I am where I want to be and around people I can relate with. I am currently in Los Angeles and it is 4:30AM. I am in no way awake by choice. I am eager to get back to New York for a couple weeks. 

Last night I had dinner with Tom at Anisette in Santa Monica- it's truly the new Scarboni.  Tom and I share this common understanding of each other that is a bond I share with very few people. Life politics, politics life - just a great friend who is inspiring. 

Earlier in the day I had lunch at Barney's Greengrass with 17 to 1, an old friend which I was so delighted to see. It definitely brought back memories of the past and feelings that are insurmountable. 

next- shopping and it really needs to STOP: at first I was undecided on the new Louie Vuitton collection but there is no denying that these are some AMAZING shoes on the market:

Black Cloud

In theory there are black clouds outside my kitchen window. We have been in Los Angeles for just about 5 days and anxious to get back to NY. The rain is nonstop. I miss my new friends and yes, the 7 mile Sunday jogs from Soho to the upper east side.
